This cinematic masterpiece sees Tilda Swinton give a truly breathtaking performance as a mother torn apart by the conflicting emotions she feels for her son and his irredeemable actions.
Based on the best-selling novel by Lionel Shriver about a couple and the psychological torture they endure with the arrival of their dysfunctional son, Kevin.
British director Lynne Ramsay creates an intriguing, complex and slowly devastating masterpiece. Alternating between a present loaded with guilt and a past full of frustration, Ramsay slowly unfolds the truth about what Kevin has done and, with it, spins a cinematic vision of contemporary hell around Swinton's mesmerising performance. - Canberra Film Festival 2011.

Muide Eire is a documentary film on the history of Ireland on Screen. From the horse drawn carriages of Dublin's yesteryear to the latest summer blockbuster, the project takes an intimate look at filmmaking in this country - as a visual expression of Irish culture, celebrating contemporary filmmakers, in both the Irish and English language.
From the glamour of red carpet interviews to behind-the-scenes 5am starts, Muide Eire invites the viewer into this world where art and industry exist in delicate balance.
The heart of this documentary is our investigation into representations of Ireland and the Irish - how the Irish have been viewed abroad, and how we represent ourselves on screen.
The documentary explores Irish film and TV history in a thematic, rather than chronological manner, exploring Landscape, Character, and the Screen as a Mirror to Society. Over 500 clips from over 200 titles illustrate a vibrant visual history; including MY LEFT FOOT, SEACHT, ADAM & PAUL, HIS & HERS, THE PIPE,
CORP & ANAM, ROS NA RUN, THE COMMITMENTS, IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, INTO THE WEST, POITIN, SONG FOR A RAGGY BOY and never-before-seen footage from behind the scenes on THE QUIET MAN.

Artist Eileen MacDonagh has worked in large scale sculpture for over 20 years in wood, stone, metal and most recently in polystyrene and Paper-Pulp.
Choosing to work in monumental scale often rules out Gallery exhibitions and so the work must be situated outside. In this talk MacDonagh discusses the nature of working in the large scale and specifically the considerations of making work which will be situated in exterior environments.
Sculpture in the Landscape refers to site-specific commissions; self initiated constructions; sculpture parks or works moved to exterior locations for exhibition. In addition the term landscape can be interpreted as Rural or Urban environments.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is probably best known as the Oscar winning film, starring Jack Nicholson. It is based on the novel written by Ken Kesey, and adapted into a Broadway play by Dale Wasserman.
It is a disturbing, yet comic play set in an Oregon psychiatric hospital in the 1960s. The rebellious RP McMurphy has himself committed, in the belief that he can avoid prison time.
He strongly resists the dictatorial regime he encounters, thus embarking on a collision course with the tyrannical Nurse Ratched, who exercises total control over the patients under her care.
We see his humanity with his fellow patients and his defence of their rights, rousing them to revolt against their mental and physical imprisonment.

After a pope dies the conclave meets in order that the cardinals may choose his successor. Several rounds of voting must take place before white smoke over the Sistine Chapel finally announces that the new pope has been elected, and before the traditional announcement from the balcony in front of St. Peter's Basilica: "Habemus papam."
But this time around the faithful assembled in the square below, a crowd hundreds of thousands strong, wait in vain for the balcony doors to open and the new head of the Catholic Church to appear.
The cardinal who has been chosen is suddenly hit with a panic attack over the responsibilities he must take on. Anxiety? Depression? Fear that he is not up to the task?
The Vatican is in shock and everyone is searching for a remedy. They decide to call in an eminent psychotherapist to help solve the situation.
