Her many vocal, chamber and orchestral works have been commissioned, broadcast and performed throughout Ireland, the UK and Europe, as well as Eastern Australia, Asia, Canada and South Africa.

Love triangles, debt, murder plots and a lot of old blarney... When Hardress Cregan's family falls on hard times, only his marriage to a wealthy heiress, Anne Chute, can save it from ruin. But there's a snag - Hardress is already secretly married to the beautiful, and not so wealthy, Eily O'Connor; and Anne is in love with someone else, Hardress' best friend Kyrle.
Will love win over money? Will a murderous plot succeed? And can they all live happily ever after?

ELYSIUM NEVADA is a retirement home on the edge of the desert, not far from Las Vegas, where two grumpy old men sit and gaze at the desert as they reflect on their lives and times, like The Odd Couple 40 years on. They wonder about the mysterious woman asleep nearby. When she wakes, the story takes a dramatic turn. The play becomes more than a comic dialogue, as surprising new truths are revealed and a poignant insight into their lives leads to a fascinating conclusion.
In LOST CITY, a reclusive middle-aged man fantasises in his work-shed about being an explorer searching for the lost city of the Incas, while he plans a special revenge on his violent father who has dominated and damaged his life. This is the première production of this new play.

Inspired by his Father's recent diagnosis of Lung Cancer, Des's latest critically acclaimed show My Dad Was Nearly James Bond tells of a remarkable life tinged with regret. In championing the real heroics of fatherhood, Des challenges many common regrets and the ridiculous ideals of manhood that real, un-slick men try to live up to.
The innate inspiration and dexterity behind this show guarantees an unforgettable and touching comedy experience..
"Edgy material...snappy, never sappy...Bishop has judged this one beautifully" The Age, Australia.

A work of masterly daring and skill, the new Italian film 'I Am Love' plays out in the late 1990s within a super-rich family called the Recchis.
Their power base is a Milanese villa introduced to us as a gilded cage - a marble-and-stone palace too large and ornate to support intimate family life. In the film's early scenes Guadagnino laps up this mansion, exploring it with a swirling, fluid camera that turns its world into a character itself.
The fictional Recchis recall the Agnellis, another troubled industrialist family which feathered its nest on the back of fascism, and Guadagnino stresses how business is woven into the fabric of this family's soul. Winner - Best Female Performance, Dublin Film Critics Awards, Jameson Dublin International Film Festival 2010.

The Carlow Regional Youth Service presents their annual youth music night. Young musicians from the Carlow area showcase their own music and songs on the GB Shaw Theatre stage.
Carlow has a vibrant community of young musicians and the evening will present local bands performing their own songs acoustically. So whether you're a fan of new music or you just wish to support youth music in your area, you are guaranteed an incredible evening's entertainment.
"Because of the great influence and guidance of the Carlow Youth Services, we the young people of Carlow, have a great opportunity to express ourselves musically to an enthusiastic audience and get to feel what it's like to be on that big stage enjoying every second of our performances" Alan Dooley.
"It's A Funny Old World" when seen through the eyes of Brendan Grace.
The sanctimonious priest who knows more than he's telling, the father of the bride making a speech at his daughter's wedding, the schoolboy with the unspeakable personal habits and a fine line in sympathy please. Brendan Grace is all of these and more. Each cock- eyed portrait he paints has a ring of truth that brings audiences to the point of apoplexy.
Brendan's material owes more to the best of the traditional stand-up-comics than it does to modern alternative humour and his show is very much a show for all the family. His off-stage persona is very much a 'man of the people' as he makes himself available after each show for a photo and a 'meet and greet'.
Described by The Wall Street Journal as "the cleverest, most cunningly constructed, most assured play in years" The Beauty Queen of Leenane is a darkly comic thriller which portrays the ancient manipulative Mag and her virginal daughter, Maureen locked in a dance of mutual loathing which may be more durable than any love.
Ben Barnes, whose production of this play won several major awards in North America, teams up with the internationally renowned designer, Todd Rosenthal (Tony and Olivier Awards for August Osage County) in his first Irish production of this award-winning play featuring the actresses Gillian Hanna (Brighton) and Jenni Ledwell (Moonshine and Translations).
The Paula Lambert Puppet Theatre is now widely recognised as the Premier Touring Puppet Theatre Company in Ireland and internationally renowned for its many fine productions.
From its earliest beginnings, the Lambert family has been involved with RTE TV, working on the hugely popular series Wanderly Wagon featuring Eugene Lambert and Judge. Paula Lambert was the 'Bosco' voice on TV for 17 years and indeed Bosco is still a firm favourite with younger children. He will make a nostalgic appearance in the opening part of the Show. This is a beautiful production with large puppets, colourful sets and exquisite lighting. It is suitable for children up to 10 years of age.
From the rip-roaring banjo-fuelled opener of Shotgun Grin to the big sky foreboding title track, right through to the closing track Borderlines, Clive's music is populated with stories of characters running and returning, longing and dreaming, down on their luck and finally finding peace.
Clive Barnes is highly regarded as one of the finest musical performers on the roots circuit, and has toured the US and Europe with the likes of Eric Bibb, Taj Mahal, Jeff Beck, Alison Krauss, Seasick Steve, The Blind Boys of Alabama and many more. Clive's reputation is solidified by the lyrical and song-writing prowess on his new collection of songs on new album The Ghost Country.

Five years after 'The Death of Mr Lazarescu' alerted the world that Romanian cinema was alive and happening, comes this compact charmer from that film's assistant director, indicating that the Romanian talent pool shows no sign of drying up. The vibe here is wry comedy-drama, as provincial high-school student Delia scoops a new car in a soft drinks competition and travels with her uptight parents to feature in the product's latest TV ad. Unfolding over a single day, we follow the hassled crew's attempt to complete a simple 35-second slot. However, the combination of inexperienced teenage prize-winner and nit-picking sponsors is not a productive one. They want Andrea Bosneag's doughty heroine to look as if she's enjoying chugging down their Day-Glo orange brew, but after umpteen takes and several litres, her enthusiasm is waning...

In Slattery's Sago Saga, Tim Hartigan's quiet life at Poguemahone Hall is shattered by the arrival of a Scotch woman with a ridiculously evil plan.
Utter confusion awaits in the shape of a politically-correct Leprechaun, a beautiful typist and a tycoon T.D. bent on bankrupting the country.
One part carnival, one part surreal satire on modern Ireland, Slattery's Sago Saga is another unforgettable theatrical adventure from The Performance Corporation - the people who brought you Irish Times Award winning Candide and The Nose as well as the Kilkenny and Edinburgh Fringe hit Dr. Ledbetter's Experiment.

But their families are bitter enemies, and in order to be together the two lovers must be prepared to risk everything...
Romeo and Juliet is a dazzling combination of passion and hatred, comedy and high tragedy, making it the perfect vehicle for the talents of choreographer Morgann Runacre-Temple who delighted audiences last year with her adaptation of Cinderella.
